Who is your Chief Instructor
Daniel Monteiro is a Retired US Marine with 20 years of Military Service where he reached the Rank of Gunnery Sergeant (GySgt).
FIVE combat deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, the African Continent, and 39 missions in Latin America.
GySgt Monteiro is an Infantry Marine, Close Quarter Battle (CQB) instructor, and a Marksmanship Instructor Training (in other words, GySgt Monteiro trains the Instructors who trains the US Marines).
With over 72,000 Marines, Soldiers, and Sailors trained along with over 2,000 Foreign Military (to include Special Forces Teams) and 500 civilian students.
GySgt Monteiro has a vast understand of training techniques. Every student has a learning style, and the training is molded around the student(s) and not around the training... you will train the way you learn; you will not be forced to adapt your learning style to our teaching techniques.
Training Philosophy
GySgt Monteiro uses the building block approach to training; this means that you will learn a fundamental skill set and then build on that skill set. Each time we will add to what we have already trained, and each time the training will be put into a "real world" application or scenario.
As the student progresses and if the student wants the training will become more and more focused on the student's abilities, self-defense, home defense, and defense of loved ones.
Extra care is given to provide each student a unique curated experience, after all, this is not a one size fits all approach to training.
Which Firearm is Right for Me?
In case you would like to purchase your own firearm, GySgt Monteiro will help you choose the firearm that fits your needs, abilities, skill sets, and even body type (size of hands, dominant eye, style of dress, etc); a truly curated experience.
Those firearms are sold at Miami International Arms, owned by GySgt Monteiro.
Home Assessment is also available, after all we will train to your reality using the distances, angles, and considerations inside of your home.
