AR-15 / Carbine Defensive
With our “building block approach to training” this is a continues training designed for constant progression. This is not a level 1, level 2, level 3, etc.
Each month we will work on three techniques.
The session in divided into two parts.
- Skills – here you will work on the three techniques for the month
- Dynamic Stage – We will create a lane where you will move and shoot with the objective of applying the technique you trained in skills and those other skills you’ve learned in previous sessions.
The following month the techniques will consist of:
- Repeat one technique from previous month
- Build on one technique from previous month
- Learn a NEW technique
With this constant and evolving building block approach to training you will be able to grow your skills, confidence, and proficiency month after month, EVEN if you miss a month, after all, life does get in the way.
Pre-Requisites:
- Understanding of Weapon Handling
- Understanding of Weapons Safety – 4 safety rules
- 21 years old or older
- For those under 21 years of age – parent or legal guardian MUST be present
- Positive attitude!
Equipment:
- Semi-Automatic Rifle (any caliber)
- 200 Rounds
- Sling
- Sights – Optic or Iron Sight
- 3+ Magazines
- Magazine Carriers
- Eye Protection
- Ear Protection
IF, you do not have your own equipment, we have it available for rent.
You will be provided with:
- Range
- Targets
- Instruction
This course is designed for:
- Those who want to protect themselves and their loved ones
- Those who want to find a new hobby in the firearm world
- Those who want to develop and sharpen their skills with a Semi-Auto rifle
This is not a “sport shooting” training plan, although many techniques do overlap. This training plan is designed with self-defense in mind!
