IWI Galil ACE Gen II
The IDF's Original Domestic Service Rifle Evolved
The modernized Galil ACE series was an update based upon the reliable mechanics of the original Galil rifle, first developed by IMI in the late 1960’s. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Russian AK-47 and the Finnish Valmet RK 62, the IWI Galil ACE updated those original Galil standards to modern international one. Optics and accessory picatinny rails, improved controls, and built in NATO and com-bloc calibers, the Galil ACE was set to compete against global service rifle offerings. It is produced under license in four countries. The Galil ACE Gen II has replaced the original ACE in the US, now with a freefloated barrel, M-LOK handguard, and further control improvements.
