The R556A2 offers superb sound reduction on 5.56 rifles of every barrel length, including taming 10.5-11.5" SBRs. Beginning summer 2024, the R556A2 has the bore EDM cut open to accommodate 6mm cartridges such as the 6mm ARC. As a minimized backpressure design, the R556A2 achieves this performance by efficiently managing gas flow through the suppressor to ensure minimal disruption to the rifle's performance. In addition, redirecting the gas flow away from the bullet's flight path enhances precision. Simultaneously, the engineered gas flow passes through the suppressor to reduce flash, recoil, and sound.
