It comes equipped with Taurus’s exclusive T.O.R.O. optics mounting system, with is composed of a optics cut in the slide as well as 4 interchangeable red dot mounting plates that can accommodate the vast majority of today’s popular red dots made by Holosun, Trijicon, Leupold, and more. The G3C T.O.R.O.’s slide has been upgraded with more surface area on the cocking serrations, providing easier slide manipulations and press checks. The grip has also been modified with an expertly contoured palm swell, generous stippling patches in key areas, and side-frame memory patches that deliver fast, positive hand positioning. The redesigned grip promotes greater accuracy, ease of operation, and firearm retention. The base-plate on the magazine is extended to fit the shooter’s pinky finger, and scalloped cuts on the mag’s base-plate and bottom grip area allow the shooter to perform tactical reloads even if grit or fouling prevent the magazine from falling free when the magazine release is pressed. The G3C T.O.R.O.’s slide release, safety, and magazine release are given a special black Teflon coating which prevents rust and reduces friction, and an Tenifer coating on the slide and frame of the pistol delivers excellent weather, corrosion, and scuffing resistance. Other features of the G3C T.O.R.O. include an enhanced trigger system with a flat facing trigger that concentrates finger pressure for a straighter pull and a crisp break. In addition, the G3C T.O.R.O. features a visual chamber indicator allowing the user to immediately check if a round is loaded, and a serrated rear sight cuts down on glare and can be upgraded with a aftermarket night sights.
